Technology - Performance - Safety

Dremel DigiLab 3D printers are built to Bosch's high quality standards.  They are 3rd party tested by UL for safety and performance and designed for an approachable, easy-to-use experience. These are some of the reasons that drive why these printers win awards, garner outstanding reviews and create countless referrals.  Here are a few aspects which set Dremel DigiLab 3D printers apart from the competition and give you peace of mind.

Built to Bosch Standards

The Bosch brand is globally recognized for its high quality products and innovation in original equipment and consumer goods. Dremel is a registered trademark of Robert Bosch GMBH. Dremel DigiLab 3D printers are designed and manufactured to Bosch specifications and standards.

The Robert Bosch Promise of Quality

“It has always been an unbearable thought to me that someone could inspect my products and find them inferior.  I have therefore always tried to ensure that only such products are delivered that  will stand any objective test: in other words, work that is superior in every respect.  I have acted on the principle: rather lose money than lose the confidence of my customers.  The integrity of my promise, faith in the quality of my goods and given word always means more to me than temporary gain."

- Robert Bosch

UL Certified

Underwriter Laboratories (UL) is a top-rated, nationally recognized, 3rd party testing authority in the U.S.  They are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to consumer safety.

UL testing process are rigorous and comprehensive.  They test for three separate facets of product safety: Electrical, Fire and Mechanical safety. For example, UL testing makes sure that wire sizes are correct, devices can handle the amount of current they state, and products are built correctly to provide safe function in your home.

UL is the only federal requirement is that products be tested by a facility that is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Network Ready - Built In

Static IP and Proxy are built in.  This ensures your IT team can verify the Dremel 3D printer is on the network and not some rogue device.

Without Static IP, resetting a 3D printer will cause the IP address to change. Imagine how difficult it would be to deliver a package if everyone's street address changed?  Static IP allows your network to always and easily find the Dremel 3D Printer.  This is especially useful for businesses and educators using print farms and networks.

Proxy filters out users or websites and blocks them..  This is most helpful for administrating 3D printers in a multi-user environment (businesses or education) because it allows them to run it on a secured network.

High-Quality Components and Safety

Separate processors for 3D printing and for the network interface.  This allows for faster processing and network speeds.

Clean and efficient wiring for added safety without compromising performance.

Material Safety Data Sheets are available for all Dremel DigiLab filaments
