UL Certified
Underwriter Laboratories (UL) is a top-rated, globally recognized, 3rd party testing authority. They are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to consumer safety.
UL testing process are rigorous and comprehensive. They test for three separate facets of product safety: Electrical, Fire and Mechanical safety. For example, UL testing makes sure that wire sizes are correct, devices can handle the amount of current they state, and products are built correctly to provide safe function in your home or workplace.
UL is the only federal requirement that products be tested by a facility that is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
