The 3D45 Heatsink Cooling Fan helps cool the Heatsink in order to prevent over-heating and damage to the extruder hardware and filament. This item is a replacement part for the fan in your 3D45. The Heatsink cooling fan can be found on the left side of the extruder head if you are looking at the extruder from the front of the printer.
